Who BLAIN Is.
BLAIN began with someone very close to home.
BLAIN is named after someone i love, who has cerebral palsy and complex needs. Growing up alongside her has shown me just how much trust it takes to place someone you love in another person’s care.
I know what it feels like to search for someone who has the right experience on paper, while wondering about all the things a CV can’t tell you. Will they be patient? Will they listen? Will they take the time to understand her? Will they notice when something isn’t right? And, ultimately, can I trust them with someone who means everything to me?
For families caring for someone with complex needs, finding the right support isn’t simply a staffing decision. You’re inviting someone into your family’s life and trusting them with the wellbeing, dignity and safety of a person you love.
That understanding is at the heart of BLAIN.
I want families to feel confident that the people supporting their loved ones have been chosen with care, and we want exceptional professionals to find roles where the importance of what they do is truly recognised.
Because sometimes the difference between simply having support and having the right support is one exceptional person.
